    The role we're looking to fill is for someone passionate about this mission and vision as well as product management who wants to be part of a fantastic team of engineers, designers, and researchers. They ensure that the entire organisation is customer-focused, actively designing better communication of and empathy with user needs through all channels.

    This role reporting to the CTO, encompasses understanding market needs, developing and managing the product roadmap in line with the product strategy, identifying the commercial and/or sales opportunity for the relevant roadmap items, sequencing the product roadmap, and closely collaborating with the CTO to align the product strategy with company objectives.

    The person in this role asks a lot, expects the impossible. Drives others to create their best work. Sees opportunities in everything, proposes and executes company-level product strategy to resolve questions about the future of our products.

    Responsibilities

    · Ensure the translation of the business strategy into the product strategy and product roadmap, that deliver market and customer benefits, meet growth targets, and ensure that systems and processes are setup to scale for further growth

    · Communicate the product strategy and product roadmap for internal stakeholders and for external consumption as and when required

    · Manage and be accountable for the roadmap: effectively prioritise business opportunities from a wide range of inputs (Customers, Sales, Customer Success, Tech), understand and prioritise this work so your team is always working on the most impactful projects.

    · Serve as the voice of the customer/user in building the product delivers a great experience

    · Develop and write the necessary investment case for the product roadmap items that can then be presented as required to internal stakeholders

    · Translate these market problems / opportunities into a tangible solution, through research, regular interaction with customers; define and frame those problems working closely with designers to create designs / wireframes for the team.

    · Provide input to product marketing for marketing communications planning and execution

    · Provide input to solution/product marketing for the go-to-market plan and supports the launch

    · Drive market acceptance' by evangelising product to all stakeholders

    · Interact with key business stakeholders to define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs), release-specific success metrics

    · Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, testers and customers to scope these solutions to their smallest coherent state to ship them as early as possible.

    · Maintain product documentation and facilitate regular product showcases so that the wider Locate a Locum team has regular visibility of new and existing product features.

    · Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the market problem & delivered on the business opportunity

    through quantitative and qualitative measures, with customer testing, betas, A/B experimentation and data analysis.

    · Establish regular customer feedback forums or check ins on new features developed and opportunities for enhancement / optimisation on behalf of customers.

    · Own and maintain the quality of the product areas your team are responsible for.

    · Motivate a group of committed, smart people to do the best work of their careers.

    · Actively looking for and honing in on the strengths of the team, and finding ways to up-skill them. Regularly digging into motivations and ambitions of the team, and building goals and process around them. As a result, team members visibly grow and progress over time.

    Qualifications / Experience

    · 5+ years' experience in a Product Manager role

    · The confidence to share your opinion and the respect to listen to others. You can help others make decisions by being persuasive

    · You can clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them. You're comfortable making decisions without consensus

    · You are an expert at understanding everyone's motivations and drives, and adapting communication and priorities to fit them. Maintains good relationships with all key stakeholders even when challenging

    · You have experience working with both qualitative customer insights, and quantitative customer data to inform decisions. You've conducted user research, a/b tests and have worked closely with design researchers and analysts

    · Knowledge and understanding of products, competitive offerings and market drivers

    · Ideally you have basic technical data analysis skills with the ability to write or configure queries using SQL or data reporting tools such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.

    · You're entrepreneurial; you don't need direction; you're self-driven

    · Actively designs features according to the requirements of future projects, and looks to find efficiency through shared components and patterns

    · You are capable of managing a small team effectively
