    IntroductionTikkurila UK is a leading paint production and distribution business, and we are seeking a commercially astute and experienced individual to take on a leadership role in our new "Shop-in-Shop" store unit.

    Role DescriptionThis is an exciting new role for an experienced supervisor or assistant store manager with a background in the paint sector looking for a new challenge.

    You will be responsible for delivering first-class customer service with a commitment to going above and beyond to meet expectations and drive results.


    Responsibilities:


    Oversee day-to-day store operationsProcess rapid delivery orders (less than 1-hour service), handle in-store orders and manage requests from head office.

    Mix paint and maintain standards in-store and on machinesAssist with tasks related to our last-mile delivery solutionMonitor targets, profits & lossesForm close partnerships with key customersManage stock & customer accountsCollaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targetsInspire first-class customer service and actively engage in proactive customer outreach during downtimeDemonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond to make a customer's dayQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in the paint sector (preferable) Proven experience in retail management with a consultative sales approachConfidence in using a computer and proficiency in numbersExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to work calmly under pressureOrganised and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitudeThe role is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
