Receptionist
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic client based in Ipswich who is looking to add a Receptionist to their team.
The client is looking for an experienced supervisor with a strong switchboard and reception background. Coupled with high administrative capability, be highly organised and confident with the ability to successfully manage a small team.

- Team player with the ability to deal with a diverse range of personalities
- Supervisory skills
- Reception experience
- Switchboard experience, both in operation and training
- Confident and competent communicator in both written and verbal mediums
- Professional, personable and adaptable approach
- Administrative experience across all Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent organisational skills and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work within a fastpaced environment with the ability to prioritise workload
Responsibilities...
- Daytoday management of Reception and Switchboard team
- Managing reception processes and updating as necessary
- Ensure high standard is maintained within the reception responsibilities
- Empathetic and Emotionally Intelligent approach to the team.
- Organising Team meetings to encourage participation and feedback and identify needs within the team and changing trends within the business.
- Empower the team to take ownership and responsibility to develop their own area.
- Undertake team appraisals identifying any training requirements, take responsibility of providing this training
- Coordination of holiday calendar and other adhoc management tasks
- Being part of the day to day running of the reception team.
- Reception outline of responsibilities/duties (nonexhaustive):
- Meeting and greeting visitors.
- Undertaking administration tasks to support Sales Office Department
- Scanning information into business computer system
- Preparation of post and managing postal requirements, Distribution of incoming parcels
- Maintaining the reception area including tracking/monitoring visitors of the building
