    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a self-motivated Supplier Chain Manager who possesses an innate ability to identify tasks and execute them flawlessly. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently but also thrives in small group settings. An eye for detail, the ability to plan while keeping the broader vision in mind, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. As Supply Chain Manager, your position is focused on ensuring that the business has a steady flow of products / material being fed into operations on time, to the right quality and cost. In addition to business as usual, you will be required to set-up supply chain for NPI projects and programmes with the support of the programme manager.

    Your Role:

    • Placing purchase orders for direct and indirect materials including the utilisation of the ERP system for managing and communicating material scheduling activities.
    • Collaboration with the Operations team to ensure materials are delivered on time, maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Collaboration with Programmes to ensure supply chain planning for Development Programmes and NPI
    • Establishing and maintaining supplier communication to agree on and convey purchase order requirements, including quality and documentation.
    • Develop and qualify new suppliers through the company's management systems to meet ongoing and future needs.
    • Expediting of material purchase orders to support customer demand.
    • Assistance in resolving invoice and delivery disputes in coordination with accounts
    • Proactive management of business inventory, including physical warehouse management as necessary, to maintain optimal levels.
    • Facilitate the return and replacement of rejected materials with suppliers, including preparation and courier organisation.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in performing additional or alternative duties as needed.
    • Effective teamwork and a 'can-do' attitude.
    • Discipline in record-keeping with clear and succinct communication skills

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Innovative and inventive thinking.
    • Proficiency in using ERP and MRP systems
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and methodologies.
    • Insight into business dynamics and understanding of environmental impacts and international standards.
    • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptability.
    • Deep knowledge of supply chain and supplier development management

    Entry Requirements:

    Candidates with qualifications at HND, degree level, or equivalent and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
