Public Relations SpecialistWe are seeking a highly competent and professional Public Relations specialist.

VAC0074 Public Relations Specialist (in House)
Location:
London (The role will be based in modern offices close to the Millennium Bridge, with flexible working options available after successful completion of a probationary period)
Salary:
£43,065.88 pa (plus generous travel allowance up to £3600pa)
Hours:
Full-time, 35 per week

Permanent

Defined Contribution Pension Scheme; Generous Travel Allowance up to £3600pa, 25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays.

About the Role
As a Public Relations Specialist, you will promote the work and mission of the organisation at home and overseas and to seek thought leadership and profiling opportunities for The General and other International Leaders.
As Public Relations Specialist, you duties will include:
*Public Relations planning
*Managing the Annual Public Relations calendar
*Leading on Public Relations campaigns
*Media Relations
*Drafting press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations.
*Providing PR support with podcasts
*Producing regular analytic reports
*Producing agendas, calendars and campaign timelines
Join a close-knit and expanding communications team working in an international context with a global audience. Please note some international travel may be required.
About You
You will have experience in a professional related working environment, or can demonstrate experience in a professional public relations role, most likely in-house.
You will need exceptional story-telling and writing capabilities coupled with an outstanding command of the English language.
You will be a highly competent interviewer, able to tease out the subtle nuances of human interest stories whilst treating your interviewee with respect and dignity.
You will be able to manage several projects simultaneously whilst hitting deadlines and will enjoy collaborating with colleagues. Evidence of continuing professional development will be an advantage.Applicants must be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of organisation.
