    Salary: £97,000 Basic - (11,000 - £15,625 company related annual bonus)

    D7 Recruitment seeks a highly motivated Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to join a Global, fast-paced, and innovative organisation focused on driving contract standards across industry. In this exceptional opportunity, you will play a vital role in providing expert health and safety guidance to their esteemed clients while offering valuable support and leadership to your team of safety professionals.

    As a key member of their cross-functional team, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of HSEQ-related legislation to meet the ever-evolving demands of their rapidly growing organisation. Your primary focus will be a client facing function and leadership of your team.]

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee various complex projects involving functionality and system improvement initiatives.
    • Drive strategic and tactical goals in meeting company objectives for quality and technical projects.
    • Maintain working knowledge of applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and industry best practices within various industries and regions.
    • Oversee development and implementation of applicable industry health and safety protocols and other technical client documents.
    • Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps in regards to regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare data and additional resources to assist clients with benchmarking against their peers and developing best in class contractor management processes.
    • Monitor Key Performance Indicators for quality of verified health and safety data.
    • Communicate regulatory or industry updates internally that impact the business processes.
    • Direct and oversee the activities of external consultants and Review Team members, including quality metrics.
    • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators for quality of verified health and safety data.
    • Communicate regulatory or industry updates internally that impact the business processes.
    • Direct and oversee the activities of external consultants and Review Team members, including quality metrics.
    • Mentor and direct a team regarding various technical projects and activities.
    • Develop team members by providing performance feedback and coaching.
    • Provide recommendations to management on performance scores and promotions.
    • Travel to meet with existing and prospective clients as the Health and Safety Subject Matter Expert.
    • Support and participate in the organisation's Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives.
    • Other tasks and projects as directed from management.

    Education, Training and Experience:

    • Level 6 Qualification in Health and Safety
    • GradIOSH
    • Manufacturing / High risk Safety

    Personal Attributes:

    • 5+ years' experience in HSE roles
    • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail applications.
    • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to manage a high impact team.
    • Exceptional personal initiative.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Solid demonstration of analytical and problem solving ability.
    • Desire to succeed and assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility.
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

    • Annual Salary: £97,000
    • Annual company related bonus between £11,000 - £15,625.
