About this opportunity
Your work environment:
We are looking to recruit 3 Electrical Engineers (also known as Maintenance Technicians) to work on a shift basis at our manufacturing facility near North Shields.
Your mission in Eviosys
• To ensure that the production lines are safe to operate, and creating/revising the engineering and equipment risk assessments.
• Attend and resolve all equipment breakdowns as required, in additional to completing planned maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned down time.
• Support root cause investigations into repetitive breakdowns, implement permanent solutions and support continuous improvement and ad-hoc project activities.
About you
You will have a professional qualification in electrical engineering and have served a recognized apprenticeship. The application of City & Guilds 18th Edition, fault finding skills, and the use of PLC systems in a manufacturing environment is also essential to succeeding in this role. Ideally, you will also possess a methodical approach to problem solving, be commercially aware, extremely proactive and be computer literate.
Annual salary including shift allowance for this role is circa £47,.
