Supplier Relationship Manager (B2B energy / utilities)

Location:
Part Bolton/ Part Remote

Salary:
£35K

Summary:

Key responsibilities:

Managing and optimising a portfolio of B2B suppliers.
Help drive commercial values
Take ownership of Mid Market supplier relationships
Building strong internal and external relationships with all departments
Access supplier processes and review the potential to improve key elements
Onboarding of new suppliers and taking ownership of the full end to end journey.
Handling internal supplier queries by being the first point of contact.
Assessing the level of supplier queries and escalating to relevant stake holders
Updating supplier content throughout the business
Work with the Marketing Team to develop our supplier product offering.
Creating and building upon Supplier Reporting using tools such as Power BI
Support Head of Supplier Relations and Operational Board with supplier negotiations

Skills and experience required:

Excellent communicator, with exceptional verbal & written skills
Highly organised and able to perform under pressure
Ability to hold challenging conversations with internal and external stakeholders
Personable, with an ability to communicate at various levels of authority
Calm under pressure and be able to deliver highquality work within tight deadlines.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Keen eye for detail
Proven experience of working with excel/ power BI
Demonstratable experience working within the B2B Utility Sector
Experience of working with supplier pricing is an advantage
