Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Administrative Assistant within the rapidly expanding Injection Services team in Ophthalmology. A medical secretarial or Health Records background is desirable for this post,together with the ability to set up clinics and amend patients' appointments in an Intravitreal Injection Service setting. Previous experience using the Trust's PAS system would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given. The role will also require some audio typing experience for the production of patient correspondence. The successful applicant will deal directly with patients, therefore, an excellent telephone manner and professional approach are essential. This is an extremely busy department, the successful applicant will need to be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high quality service for our patients.
