    We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Manager to join our team in a female religious order setting in Cork City. You will be responsible for managing the caring, catering, cleaning and house services, managing a team of 6. You will need to have experience in the care sector, excellent people management skills and experience in a similar role.

    You will be working with a great team and there are excellent professional development and progression opportunities within the company.

    Please note you will be required to undergo Garda Vetting before you undertake the role.

    Main Responsibilities

    To ensure financial documentation and accountancy of the unit (and those from suppliers) and is accurate and within agreed budget levels
    To manage the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery
    To actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site OH&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment
    To motivate and lead employees to perform their roles to a high standard and in alignment to Sodexo policies and procedures
    To actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth within the contract and external market
    Delivery of a consistent level of service within the companies standards, to the contract specification and agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
    Compliance to company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and chemical safety.

    The ideal candidate

    Experience working in care environment
    Proven experience in managing and leading teams
    Industry acumen and knowledge of external care, catering and cleaning developments and innovations
    This role will require applicants to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Garda Vetting.
