    The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Procurement Manager / IT Procurement Manager / IT Contracts Manager to lead on aspects of technology procurement, ensuring they maintain a competitive edge through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management with vendors and suppliers.

    Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectivesIdentify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers for technology products and servicesNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favourable agreementsManage vendor relationships and performance, including regular performance reviews and contract renewalsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal departments, to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and requirementsMonitor market trends and technology advancements to inform procurement decisions and opportunities for innovationOversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulationsAnalyse procurement data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise procurement processesQualificationsProven experience in technology procurement / IT procurement / IT Contract or strategic sourcing, in a financial services related company - Banking / Insurance / Assurance / Health / London Market etc.

    Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersFamiliarity with procurement of software and systems, BPO / Outsourcing an advantageKnowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain managementExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detail
