Technical Manager - Renewable Energy

£40k-£45k + Shares/Profit Share + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager / Technical Manager to join a growing and well-established provider within the Renewable Energy market.

Our client offer a range of renewable solutions such as Solar PV,Ground Source & Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal to both domestic and commercial premises.


Job Role:


  • Joining the business in a key position, you'll assist the Director and various senior members of the team with the running of the company.
  • Working both from office and field based, project managing a range of renewable energy projects.
  • Managing, scheduling and coordinating teams of engineers / installers and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring engineer performance and QC reports.
  • Arranging relevant training where required.
  • Providing technical advice and customer support where required.
  • Liaising with suppliers, ordering parts etc.
  • Providing quotations. Dealing with all customer enquiries from initial survey of property and advise which system would be best suited etc.

Skills & Experience Required:


  • Renewable Energy experience is essential, either with Solar PV/Electrical experience or Air Source Heat Pump / Ground Source Heat Pump experience.
  • Ideally you'll be multiskilled and qualified with both electrical qualifications (18th edition etc.) and relevant plumbing, mechanical and heating qualifications.
  • You'll need to have come from a previous hands on background.
  • Supervisory, Project Management or Technical Management experience required.
