    Description

    NPS Continuous Improvement & Performance Team

    The group supports development and delivery of system, performance, and quality functions delivering continuous improvement within NPS teams across Service Operations, Asset Management, P.R.O. and Control Centre.

    Technical Improvement Specialist

  • Identification and implementation of continual improvement opportunities (technical and systems) across the department through data interrogation and trend analysis.
  • Supporting NPS Management Team with creation of Monthly Reporting as directed by the CI&P PM and Heads of Department.
  • Support the Bid Management process with provision of improvement and departmental information where required.
  • Support the adoption and integration of new sites or equipment, working with other business functions and/or clients as required.
  • In consultation with department managers and other stakeholders, programme inspection and maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans to ensure compliance with the relevant maintenance policy.
  • Management of the Engineering Risk Review/Asset Register process, including responsibility for the development and maintenance of Project Risk Registers, and suitable strategic spares lists for each project (consulting with area managers and other stakeholders as appropriate).
  • Assist with investigations as required to ensure NPS standards are improved and maintained.
  • Lead on Lessons Learnt implementation across NPS to ensure dissemination of learning across the team and improvement across the team.
  • Carry out regular inspections ('spot-checks') of remote sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with company policy and applicable department procedures – where shortcomings, deficiencies, or non-compliance are identified, recommend, and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of Quality Plans ensuring Client KPIs are monitored and delivered.
  • Collaboration with Service Line delivery resources across NPS departments, other NP (Natural Power) business units, including HSEQ, to drive system and process improvement, automation, and efficiencies for NPS.
  • Duties of the post could vary from time to time because of new legislation, changes in technology or policy. In this event, appropriate training will be provided. You will also be required to attend NPS business and client locations to ensure a high standard of performance is maintained.
