- Minimum of 3 experience in installation of instrumentation, communication and electrical products
- Considerable knowledge of electrical and electronic devices, such as circuits, switches, breakers, wiring, and of safety precautions and hazards related to electricity
- Understanding of communication networks principles, in particular radio spectrum for BTS and distributed radio network for utilities sector - can carry out accurate RF surveys at remote sites
- Configuration of 3rd party equipment via system interface using laptop
- Telemetry outstation and PLC installation, configuration and verification experience - desirable
- Considerable knowledge of working practices, techniques and processes for equipment related to the calibration of instruments, controls and gauges used within the Water Industry - desirable.
- Understanding/appreciation of network security requirements when working across critical national infrastructure
- Installation of the client's products to a very high level of quality, to budget and on time.
- Follow manufactures guidelines for installation and maintenance of equipment supplied by the client
- Adherence to Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Obtain customer sign off for all installations
- Resolution of general support incidents in a timely fashion, either remotely or on site
