Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next exciting challenge? Our client has over 100 years of dedication to being the best at what they do.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the West Region Financeteam. This role will be responsible for producing reliable and accurate management accounts and information to assist in the management of the business, giving thoughtful and accurate analysis of data produced


Being a superb commercial business partner, you will be a natural and building excellent relationships with finance and non finance to all levels.

Role summary

  • Act as a business partner and strong influencer to event Managers and budget holders to ensure budgets are achieved/exceeded, providing insightful analysis on a regular basis
  • Assist with the preparation of regular weekly internal reports and provide insight on the output
  • Attend regular budget holder meetings with budget holders to review spend to date and forecast future spend
  • Provide analysis for ad hoc sales and operational requests
  • Contribute to the preparation of business cases for investment for infrastructure improvements as necessary, and act as advisor to the budget holders and managers.
  • Conduct pre and post investment analysis.
  • Constantly look for areas where we can improve analysis, processes and reporting
  • Completion of the monthly management accounts for the region's
  • Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling
  • Providing finance and business support to commercial, sales and operational staff
  • Produce detailed reconciliations between accounts and booking systems
  • Preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts
  • Oversee PO and recording processes to encourage adherence to group policies.
  • Produce Balance sheet Reconciliations for the region's
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA Part Qualified
  • Finalist
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication to all levels
  • Experienced presenting financial data to Finance non finance with influence abilities
  • An aptitude for attention to detail and adherence to deadlines is essential
  • Ability to prioritise own workload with good problem solving abilities
  • Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen
  • Initiative to investigate and demonstrate findings
  • Good problem solving abilities
