    An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Supervisor to work within an established and growing family business.

    This full-time role will require a degree of flexibility which will include the ability to travel weekly between our offices in Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft.

    Experience of managing others would be desirable.
    Some key responsibilities of the role:
    Provide line management and leadership to the Accounts Administrators
    Assist in production of monthly management accounts for the group
    Process monthly payroll for all of our branches
    To reconcile balance sheets and intercompany transactions
    To assist with CIS and DRC responsibilities and associated works
    Assist with Company VAT returns
    To produce labour utilisation, sales graphs and other operational management reports as necessary
    Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

    Suitable candidates would have:

    Proven experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and project accounting
    Confidence with Accounting systems, Sage Intacct desirable
    Intermediate/ Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft 365
    Previous experience of Management Accounts and the ability to demonstrate technical accounting knowledge
    Experience in multi-entity accounting, CIS and DRC would be an advantage
    Experience of, and proficiency in processing payroll
    Good communication skills and who is comfortable and confident building relationships across the business
    A detail orientated approach and is self-reflective, taking responsibility for reviewing own work
    Proactivity, be self-motivated with a good degree of initiative, and eager to learn and grow
    Ability to manage time and deliver goals and objectives
    Team player, willing to accept responsibility and to supervise and support other team members as required
    Ideally experience of managing others
    A dynamic and flexible nature and willingness to empower others
    A systematic approach to solving problems, improving process and procedures and developing and improving ways of working
    Honesty, be trustworthy and respectful
    Confidence to explain financial aspects of the business to non-financial colleagues
