Our client is a pioneer in their field within the manufacturing industry. A renowned brand that supplies its products locally and all over the world.
They have the need for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager from a vehicle manufacturing or aviation background to oversee a large team of skilled electrical engineers.
Work closely with the Product Development Director and the project management team on project key milestones.Improve the standards of engineering and ensure that engineering designs are robust and properly validated.
Ensure engineering practices and activities comply fully with company Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes.
Co-ordinate new option development for production contract planning and current design.
Work with the Electrical, Manufacturing and Homologation teams to ensure consistence of design by maintaining strong lines of communication.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent~5 years' experience of engineering in a resource planning manufacturing environment
~ Previous NPD experience, Vehicle engineering experience, budget control experience
