The Opportunity:
The global child protection system is complex, and many people and organisations have a role to protect children from and prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSEA).
Childlight, a global child safety institute, is looking for two Childlight Technical Advisory Programme (C-TAP) Managers who can accelerate the response to accessing, analysing, and responding to CSEA data. This includes advising, guiding, and mentoring frontline responders on how better access to and use of data can enhance their response to tackling CSEA and safeguarding children from immediate and ongoing sexual exploitation and abuse. Postholders will primarily focus on a specific region and will be responsible for initiating engagement with key stakeholders and partners to agree and create a holistic multi agency response to CSEA.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), based within Childlight's premises in Edinburgh, with regular travel outside of the UK. We are open to considering requests for Hybrid Working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote (within the UK) and regular on-campus working when not travelling.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Experience in the CSEA sector via Law Enforcement, the Tech Industry, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar field
Experience of working in an international setting with diverse stakeholders.
Experience of managing and delivering complex multi country projects and programmes including understanding of the critical importance of safeguarding and ethics processes
Awareness of the sensitivities that can arise during multi-partner, multi-disciplinary collaborations around CSEA.
A passion for making the world a better place and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation, improving services, and safeguarding children.
£61,198 to £75,498. Grade UOE09, per annum
