The Post holder will ideally haveprevious NHS experience, previous experience across a broad rang of juniorrotations, assessment and treatment knowledge is essential. They must be ableto demonstrate initiative and prioritise a complex workload whilst working bothas a autonomous and practitioner and as part of a team.
High levels of both written and oralcommunication are essential to this post with the ability to deliver or discussdifficult diagnosis and prognosis with tact, empathy, managing distressed oraggressive patients or carers/Relatives. The post holder must be able tocommunicate accurate and sensitive information to patients, carers andrelatives as well as within their own team and colleagues.
Main duties of the job
Performspecialist assessment and treatment of patients and determine a clinicaldiagnosis, develop, implement, evaluate, and modify individualised treatmentprogrammes.
Responsiblefor your own clinical caseload in the defined clinical area of Falls andFracture Prevention.
Usea range of manual physiotherapy skills when implementing a programme of care,demonstrating highly developed dexterity, co-ordination and palpatory sensoryskills for assessment and manual treatment of patients
