Clarion Corvus Trust is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at the Specialist Resource Base at Manor Field Infant and Nursery School to provide in-class support to children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

You will undertake care, learning programmes and activities to support pupils, including more specialised support for those with special educational needs, enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.


We are looking for someone who understands and enjoys working with young people, is well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in your work.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect. You will need a high level of personal emotional regulation, however the post does offer therapeutic supervision.

Hours of work, 4 days per week - 8.30am - 3.30pm (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri).

A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential. A knowledge of and willingness to learn therapeutic interventions such as Thrive, ELSA and Boxall is required.
