Job summary
Band 6 Sister (Registered Nurse) for Oral & Maxillofacial & Plastic surgery outpatients dept. - Hours: Hours over 5 days.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse with excellent communication skills to work in our speciality maxillofacial outpatient department. You will need to work flexibly as part of a small but highly motivated team.
Main duties of the job
We cover outpatient clinics, oral/dental surgery, minor skin and plastic day surgery as well as nurse led dressing clinics.
It would be advantageous for candidates to have previous experience in wound care management as well as experience in undertaking risk assessments, audits and staff management responsibilities.
Surgical experience within minor head and neck and plastic surgery would also be desirable but not essential
