Role Description:
- Understand business requirement, document and translate with technology the deliverable implementation plan
- Perform analysis on large and complex set of data, including thematic review on issues
- Define, document and implement processes and control framework
- Manage a set of deliverables as part of a project or Business as usual deliverables to meet business/regulatory/audit requirements under tight deadline
- Work across Operations, Technology, Market risk, and other business partners on strategic initiatives and data sourcing projects
- Support all lifecycle of project from requirement development, implementation, User Acceptance Testing and go live
- Improve data quality diagnostic tools, investigate possible data errors and remediate inaccurate & missing data
- Establish policies and procedures for managing data exceptions
- Train end users on new functionality focusing on understanding data and new processes

The QS Risk Operations team within Global Market Operations is offering an exciting opportunity to work on designing, testing, and improving the data quality control framework & processes supporting Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, and Prime Brokeragebusiness.
Ensuring high quality data used in key business and risk management processes is critical to our success as a firm.
This position is at the nexus of the areas of responsibility of QS Risk Operations, facing off to the Business, Risk Managers, Finance Managersand the Technology groups and well-placed to define and implement effective solutions and manage remediation of data issues.
Risk Operations is part of the wider Quantitative Services team - an organization that also focuses on optimization and automation opportunities across various Global Market's processes.

Required transferable skills / qualifications:
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment which is spread across different geographical locations
- Ability to liaise and work with stakeholders across hierarchies and with diverse experiences and backgrounds
- Excellent time management; Selfmotivated with problemsolving mindset
- Team player but able to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Understanding of controls
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills
Desirable skills / experience / qualifications:
- Project management skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Finance or a Quantitative field
- Broad knowledge in financial products and Risk management (VaR, Greeks, Stress testing)
- Experience in Market Risk, Finance, or a Control function
- Advanced Excel/VBA skills and preferably SQL or Python skills to build and maintain tools to simplify and improve processes, and eliminate manual / repetitive tasks
