FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM LEAD

FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM LEAD in our
WREXHAM PLANT, you'll be an integral part of the team, working on developing and executing key strategies to support the implementation of the Food Safety programs.

Your role will be based full time from our Plant based in
Wrexham, United Kingdom.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Within the 7 Core Programs of QFS you will be the Food Safety program owner
  • Own Food Safety Plan (HACCP) for the site, as HACCP Team Leader
  • Overall ownership of prerequisite programs, liaising directly with those responsible for these programs. Including direct ownership of PRPs such as Chemical Control, Foreign material Control, Allergen Control and GMPs
  • Own Food Defense Program, including VACCP and TACCP.
  • Own Food Safety Out of Standard and CAPA program
  • Own Food Safety Risk Assessment process
  • Support consumer complaint investigation and relevant complaint reduction programs.
  • Support hold management and the review and determination of relevant holds for sampling or other dispositions

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Minimum Level 3 HACCP Qualification (Level 4 to be required for role)
  • Good knowledge of Food Safety systems and processes.
  • Good knowledge of market regulations and standards (e.g. BRC, Halal, Kosher etc.)
  • Analytical/Decision Making, root cause analysis and problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Someone who can act quickly.
  • Strong communicator who can influence across different peer levels.
