- Prepare internal and external building surfaces to be painted.
- Attention to quality and detail.
- Housekeeping and general working conditions of the work areas are of a high standard.
- Coordinate with Supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Lead by example and provide support and mentorship to apprentices.
- Undertake reworks and refurbish builds as required.
- Undertake maintenance and repair work as required.
- Work safely in compliance with WHSEQ standards and procedure
- Previous experience in a similar role desired as a commercial Painter.
- Strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
- Willingness to learn, work hard and grow.
- An understanding of the building industry desired.
- Comfortable working in a robust and fast paced environment.
- Can work as part of a team and independently.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work under cover and in open air environments.
- A willingness to learn and develop skillset.
