Our client, an international organisation specialising in cultural and education opportunities, is looking to hire a contract project manager to assist with a large scale HR transformation project

Role Purpose


Lead and facilitate the evaluation and selection process of supplier, this will also involve coordinate activities between regions and workstream.

To assist the Transformation HR Workstream with the coordination and management of outsourcing-related initiatives. Support the HR workstream on programme delivery, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and assurance.


To assist with governance, planning, important activities, tracking progress against the baseline plan, trends, major milestones, and delivering workstream outcomes.

This role is located within the Transformation Programme and reports to Programme Director.


The Transformation function is a fixed term function which has been put in place to lead the British Council's Transformation Programme.

It consists of programme, change management & organisation design, finance, and communications experts. Each workstream(SBU or Professional Service) has its own Programme Director, Change Manager and PMO.


Required Skills:


  • Proven project management experience delivering large projects to successful outcomes, preferably across a major part of an organisation and/or a significant geographical area.
  • Working knowledge of one outsourced project management, budgeting, and coordination with external partners.
  • Proven experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders
