Bennett and Game are partnering with a leading specialist in water and wastewater process technology, renowned for designing, building, and operating treatment plants across the UK and Ireland.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to take on the ultimate responsibility for day-to-day project operations, focusing on remediation works and groundworks.
This pivotal role involves ensuring health and safety, enhancing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and achieving optimal commercial outcomes.Site Manager Position Overview:
Reporting Structure:
Direct reporting and collaboration with the Project Manager
Health and Safety:
Spearheading site health and safety management
Supervision:
Overseeing all on-site activities and managing subcontractors
Resource Management:
Coordinating labor and materials effectively
Progress Meetings:
Leading and participating in progress meetings
Quality Assessment:
Evaluating the quality of work delivered by subcontractors
Technical Support:
Addressing and resolving any technical issues
Safe Working Practices:
Ensuring adherence to company procedures and industry standards
Site Manager Position Requirements:
Safety Culture:
Encouraging and promoting a positive safety culture on-site
Health and Safety Procedures:
In-depth knowledge and awareness of processes and procedures
Work Activities:
Instigating and monitoring work activities on-site
Reporting:
Prompt reporting of accidents, incidents, and complaints in compliance with company procedures
Site Inductions:
Conducting site inductions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records in accordance with legislation and guidelines
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Background:
Mechanical & electrical (M&E) expertise
Certifications:
SMSTS, Full 3-day first aid, Black CSCS Card (Management & Professionals), EUSR - Water hygiene, Temporary Works Coordinator
Desirable:
City & Guilds confined space entrant & topman (Medium Risk , CPCS appointed person (A61)
