    Description
    We have lots of children waiting for a fun person to come and join our Fantastic inclusive team at our West Calder setting within the preschool room

    Little Flyers have a unique and diverse outlook for children and staff in Early Years.

    Whilst not compromising on quality nor legislation, we are influencing and shaping the changes we believe are needed in the sector.

    This is not only in the way we deliver Early Learning and Childcare, but also advocating the respect and value our educators deserve.

    Our current Senior management team and leaders consist of three family directors, where one works as the business manager, operations manager, lead setting managers, development support manager, learning and development manager
    Be qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
    Be flexible in their working hours/pattern
    Be passionate about early learning and childcare
    Want to inspire and ignite curiosity in children
    Be keen to develop their professional knowledge and learning through CPD courses and in-house training.
    A good work life balance.
    Extensive senior management support
    Training within your working day, avoiding evenings and weekends

    We have our own bank staff of Highflyers, this allows us to cover training, holidays and sickness, these staff are welcomed as our own, and inducted in the same way, to ensure consistency and high expectations in our service.

    We promote health and well-being and support our team and children to give them a positive outlook.
    We support colleges and schools and offer ongoing placements.

    We are not only passionate within our own companies, Little Flyers, Highflyers and Jets Activity Clubs, Sharon is now founder of Scottish Private Nursery Association (SPNA) and works tirelessly as a voice for the whole Early Years sector in Scotland.

    Little Flyers Childcare has settings across Edinburgh and West Lothian, alongside our afterschool provision, caring for children aged 0 to 10 years.

    Our staff have decades of childcare experience and such genuine compassion and empathy to help support our children and families as they grow.

    We are so proud to be named in the 'TOP 20 of Day Nurseries' three years in a row.

    At Little Flyers, we know that childcare is a significant expense for families, which is why it's so important to me to use my privileged position to lobby The Scottish Government and our regulating bodies to better the private childcare sector.

    It's our aim to work to better our sector by creating a balance between paying practitioner the wage they deserve, and making childcare affordable for all.
