    Operations Manager
    Traffic Management
    Borehamwood
    £50,000 - £60,000 + Full Package

    Utilise Recruitment are currently looking for a number of Operations Managers, within the Traffic Management Sector, on behalf of our Client; a major Highways Contractor, based out of Borehamwood.

    Responsibilities as Operations Manager
    • Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and challenges, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
    • Leading and mentoring the operational team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
    • Managing client relationships, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations to optimise project resources and maintain quality standards.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry best practices throughout all project phases.
    • Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
    • Take responsibility for the Works Schedule, Work force & workload
    • Maximise and scheduling to maximise effectiveness.
    • Communicate on resources with others, such as collaborating with other Delivery Managers to share resources.
    • Drive the productivity of the teams through smart scheduling and booking as appropriate.

    • Internal Stakeholder Management & Relationships
    Skills & Experience required for Operations Manager
    • Must Have Traffic Management experience.
    • Delivery and customer service focused.
    • Organised with good attention to detail and ability to solve problems as they arise.
    • The ability to successfully lead and manage an operational team.
    • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing demands in a pressurised delivery environment.
    • Resilient and self-motivated with a personal drive for continuous improvement.
    • Able to coach and develop others towards improvement.
    • TM & Management Certification
