We've got an exciting opportunity for you to join the talent acquisition team as talent acquisition coordinators supporting our retail stores across Starbucks UK on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Working in collaboration with our district managers and storemanagers across the areas you'll support, you'll be providing attraction, direct sourcing and hiring support being the first point of contact for your areas for any hiring needs.

You'll also get involved in our opportunity hiring programs including apprenticeshipsand refugees, being an ambassador for our partnerships and working with your recruitment advocates to develop our opportunity hiring programs in your district.

As our talent acquisition coordinator, you'll get involved in:

  • Monitoring and supporting ongoing recruitment needs for the UK, providing a monthly update for our wider HR and operations teams and making sure effective tracking against key KPIs is maintained each week
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the recruitment advocates and district managers to allow our priorities reflect the current needs of the districts
  • Managing both internal and external advertising and sourcing for volume roles and new store openings via external methods of recruitment
  • Building and maintaining contacts with external providers (i.e. local councils, job centres and our opportunity hiring partners)
  • Be an advocate for our opportunity hiring partnerships and drive recruitment campaigns and hires within your districts
  • Advising recruitment advocates and our operational teams on hiring processes and new tools available, provide central sourcing support
  • Maintaining and attending our recruitment events calendar, coordinating and facilitating internal and external hiring events as required
  • Running our recruitment training session, upskilling new/newly promoted hiring managers in the business, as well as spending time in your districts, upskilling hiring managers, providing support on local activities and sharing best practice
