    Description

    We are looking for an incredibly driven and ambitious individual to supercharge our operations at Fuse. You will be part of a lean, high intensity team, and get direct exposure to high performers coming from Revolut, Tesla, Citadel, & Jump Trading.

    Fuse's mission is to build a terawatt of renewables to power the world. We've raised $78m from top tier investors like Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, and Ribbit. Fuse's founders are Alan Chang, ex-CRO of Revolut, and Charles Orr, who led strategy at Revolut and was an investor at Mosaic Ventures.

    The ideal candidate

    You are hungry, astute, and high-agency and have 0-2 years' work experience.

    Swiss army knife. You are a generalist with a technical background. You love picking up new skills and applying them to new problems.

    Sees both forest and the trees. You can sift through the noise, identify key details, and communicate them clearly to people who have zero context.

    Self-starter. You are high-agency and you question the world around you. You may be looking to start your own company in the future.

    Responsibilities

    The operations team works across the business, working closely with the broader team to deliver our core products to customers. This involves building the physical capacity and trading infrastructure for our supply business. It also includes the scoping, modelling, and design of new products and business lines, including entry into new markets.

    Some of the tasks the operations team are currently working on include:

    • Analysing and optimising our core supply operations: from energy trading to our finance function
    • Building and pricing innovative products and working on strategy to deliver them
    • Expanding our operations to other markets, breaking down the business and regulatory environment in each jurisdiction
    • Sourcing & negotiation of contracts with our partners to achieve business goals

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree from a top university in STEM with coding experience
    • Track record of exceptional achievement
    • Relentless approach to solving problems
    • Very clear communicator
    • Comfortable learning quickly and iterating
    • Ability to work well individually or in a team
