- Responsibility for accurate and timely completion and filing of statutory accounts within 8 UK legal entities.
- Supporting month, quarter and year end processes for selected legal entities linked to the statutory responsibilities.
- Responsibility and involvement in corporation tax, VAT review and general tax compliance.
- Ensure accuracy and timely financial information, under US/ local GAAP reporting.
- Reviewing month end financials within local finance. Identifying and analysing key performance variances, investigating and documenting causes and future impacts; understanding performance and identifying any errors.
- Work with team on trial balance trend analysis reports and review to provide a good level of understanding on the financials being reported.
- Work within wider finance team on projects and manage external relationships (for audit purposes).
- Relevant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- 1/2 years experience in industry preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry is highly advantageous
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid knowledge of both US GAAP and UK GAAP
- A competitive salary range of £57,000 - £63,000 (GBP) per annum
