    Description

    A Special Needs School for secondary ages students in the London borough of Lewisham is currently recruiting through Prospero Teaching for a Behaviour Mentor to join the school in April 2024.

    The successful Behaviour Mentor will support students with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn. You will actively listen to their needs and concerns and address / challenge behaviour that impacts negatively on the student and provide tailored guidance / support whilst liaising with teachers, social workers, the management at the school, other educational professions and parents/guardians.

    The school has an excellent management team and provide ongoing CPD to ensure you are always in a position to best help students as well as further your own development in the role. It would ideally suit an experienced TA or someone in a similar role as a Behaviour Mentor who is looking for new challenge in a positive and rewarding environment
