Description

Coventry University has partnerships with academic institutions around the world, giving international students the opportunity to study a Coventry University qualification in their own country.

We operate teaching programmes abroad for over 20,000 students. Our commitment to providing the best for our students doesn't stop with them, it starts with our people.

The Academic Partnership Unit (APU) at Coventry University works across the University group to identify, develop and support academic collaborations between Coventry University, both in the UK and around the world.

We are looking for administrators to join us here in the Registry team.

This role is varied and interesting, giving the opportunity to engage with collaborative partners as well as with a variety of stakeholders across the University Group.

Registry as a large and diverse department within one of Coventry's largest employers, offers a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional development in this dynamic and expanding organisation.

We live and breathe a passion for supporting Coventry University and our collaborative partners on all matters concerning student and course support.

We work hand-in-hand with our academic colleagues, ensuring their academic journeys are excellent in every respect - from their first enrolment right through to graduation.

We're not just looking for the ordinary; we need people who are energetic, enthusiastic and have a passion for accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

You will be working in a fast-paced department and will be trained on University procedures and regulations, and in the best ways to support staff and students.

You will need to be:

-
A team player:you're flexible in outlook and will pitch-in to support your colleagues with ideas and support, and you're willing to teach, learn, lead, and follow.
-
Customer-focused:You understand your impact on a customer's experience because you've been in their shoes; you listen closely, understand their needs, and go above-and-beyond to create the best possible experience.
-
A clear communicator: Concise and articulate, you can get your point across positively and professionally, both in writing and in conversation. You understand the need to tailor your communications to the situation, and to be mindful of the rich cultural diversity of the university.
-
Tech 'savvy': You'll be comfortable with the MS Office suite, know your way around a Word document and spreadsheet, and keen to become an expert in our business systems.
