In particular, the team manage the urological injuries arising from renal trauma, pelvic fracture, priapism and penile fracture.

We run a consultant of the week on-call model with separate consultant cover week nights. During this time elective activities are cancelled to allow full focus on emergency work.

St. George's is the primary provider for complex cancer surgery. There is the requirement to work in multidisciplinary teams.
