- Specification, Control and purchase of Automation equipment needed in the manufacturing process.
- Continuous improvement of all production equipment resulting in increased efficiency and improved Overall equipment effectiveness.
- Working in a team collaborating in new product introductions and design for automatic manufacture.
- Ensure all equipment is UKCA marked with all the necessary documentation, and manufacturing and maintenance have all necessary training and information.
- Collaborate with R&D and the New Product Introduction team to ensure the new product industrialisation process is supported by Engineering in terms of product costing, product build design. Either a relevant degree, or a number of years experience in Engineering.
- A good understanding of Robotics .
- Siemens PLC programming including Profinet devices.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing technique
