Rutherford Briant are delighted to be working with a long term and very well established client to help with their continued growth.

They're a growing SME looking for a Management Accountant to join our team in Ipswich. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our business to achieve its growth plans. You will report to the Group Accountant and work closely withthe management team.
Paying up to £35,000 with study support an option if required/wanted.

Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly management accounts and analysis of financial performance
Preparing budgets and forecasts
Variance analysis and investigation of any discrepancies
Developing financial models and implementing cost control measures
Performing reconciliations of financial accounts and ensuring accuracy of data
Preparation of yearend accounts and working with external auditors
Adhoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Requirements:

Relevant accounting qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
At least 1 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively with the management team and external stakeholders
