Teaching Assistant (SEND) for school located in Blackley, North Manchester

Start - September 2023

Long-term role

£75 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)
We are urgently seeking an SEND TA with a passion for supporting children who have SEMH needs.

We are recruiting on behalf of a large Primary School that have multiple roles for SEND TA's commencing at the start of the new academic year.

The school has excellent facilities, beautiful grounds and a dynamic and alternative curriculum for pupils requiring additional support and care within their education environment.

You will be mostly working on a 1:1 basis throughout your placement.

The placement is initially temporary but has the potential to be permanent should both parties be happy following an induction period.

Key information

Competitive pay rates from
£75 to £90 a day depending on experience
You'll be matched to students & you'll work with them on a 1:1 basis
Provided education on and off school site
Working with pupils that have various special educational needs and/or social, emotional & mental health needs

Requirements:

At least a year's experience of working with children who have SEN and/or SEMH needs
A proven track record of delivering primary or secondary education
Strong safeguarding knowledge
A resilient personality with a creative flair
