Teaching Assistant (SEND) for school located in Blackley, North Manchester

Start - September 2023

Long-term role

£75 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)
We are urgently seeking an SEND TA with a passion for supporting children who have SEMH needs.


We are recruiting on behalf of a large Primary School that have multiple roles for SEND TA's commencing at the start of the new academic year.


The school has excellent facilities, beautiful grounds and a dynamic and alternative curriculum for pupils requiring additional support and care within their education environment.

You will be mostly working on a 1:1 basis throughout your placement.

The placement is initially temporary but has the potential to be permanent should both parties be happy following an induction period.


Key information

  • Competitive pay rates from
    £75 to £90 a day depending on experience
  • You'll be matched to students & you'll work with them on a 1:1 basis
  • Provided education on and off school site
  • Working with pupils that have various special educational needs and/or social, emotional & mental health needs

Requirements:


  • At least a year's experience of working with children who have SEN and/or SEMH needs
  • A proven track record of delivering primary or secondary education
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • A resilient personality with a creative flair
