NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Support Worker to work for a rewarding Charity who provide practical help and personalised support through their education, housing, justice and health and wellbeing services.

This role will provide housing support a number of service users aged 18+ across Middlesborough and Teeside providing offering support for vulnerable service users who may be experience hardship, homelessness, mental health issue, care leavers, domestic abuse, etc.

You will offer person centred support ensuring service users build confidence and independence.

This is a day based Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, full time based role with your role involving:

Develop support plans for service users which will also complement support plans from other agencies
Match service users with available properties
Capturing and evidencing service user progress, as well as recording regular contacts on their case file
Monitoring and reporting on safe guarding concerns as well as liaising and working in partnership with relevant external agencies e.g. police, probation, local authorities and social services etc.
Ensuring service users access services to build confidence and independence.
Support with budgeting and benefits as well as referring to external agencies
Reporting on property repairs and engaging with landlords and contractors
Rent management and void turnaround.

Rate of pay £15.62 per hour via a umbrella company

Ongoing contract and permanent possibilities.

Full driving license and access to a car is essential
