What are we looking for?

It is important that you are able to contribute to sales and business development as well as leading consultant / client delivery teams on key engagements and accounts.

In addition, we will expect you to motivate, support and develop junior members of the Moorhouse team and play an active role in supporting the career development of a small group of colleagues.

You will be a key member of the sector leadership team and involved in shaping how we run the business so the ability to lead others; shape and influence our continued growth and success as a sector team; and contribute to sales and business development is key.


  • At least 911 years' experience of which 5 years' experience working on projects that are sustainability related across a number of different organisations
  • Have expertise in sustainability and decarbonisation demonstrated by your understanding of the market, regulatory frameworks, and the challenges clients are facing in delivering commitments related to sustainability
  • Experience delivering solutions for clients in some of the following:
  • Corporate carbon footprinting, aligned to the GHG Protocol, including Scope
  • SBTi and Net Zero target setting
  • Reporting standards, such as ESOS, SECR, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, etc.
  • Social Impact Strategy development
  • ESG Strategy development
  • Policy and regulatory frameworks
  • Building energy efficiency assessments, reduction plans, standards, etc.
  • Circular economy
  • Fleet electrification
  • ESG Reporting systems implementation
  • 8+ years consulting experience from a consulting firm
  • A strong track record of scoping and delivering consulting solutions and services
  • A strong sales track record and a demonstrable network of relevant relationships;
  • An ability to shape and implement complex business change and transformational programmes;
  • A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues;
  • Willingness to play a significant role in upskilling resources and growing a capable team;
  • Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders

What we can offer you

:


  • A total cash package of
    £135,000 comprising of a base salary of
    £100,000 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months
  • On top of the above is a
    sales bonus attributed to the value of revenue brought into Moorhouse

25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a
maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year
