Shift Engineer - Ballymena - Full TimeOur Client are leaders in the manufacture of High Density Polyethylene bottles for the food and drinks industry and are currently on the interested hearing from Engineers with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join their maintenance team.
Hours of work: 12 hour shiftsPermanent opportunity
This is a hands on role working alongside management and engineering departments. Your focus will be to ensure that the plant, machinery and equipment meets agreed standards of performance . Work closely with both Shift Manager and the Engineering Department to carry out any servicing, repairs and maintenance
To suggest new projects or working practices to ensure continual improvement.
To monitor the performance of the machinery and equipment, and to be proactive in avoiding downtime
Knowledge of PLC operation and interrogation.
Ability to fault find with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrics and electronics.
