    The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD) is a space for everyone, and we welcome applications from people with all sorts of backgrounds and lived experiences. As Wales' national conservatoire, we fire imagination and drive innovation, offering training to almost 1000 actors, musicians, designers, technicians, and arts managers from more than 30 countries.     We are seeking someone with a blend of professional performing and teaching skills to deliver lessons and classes within our Young RWCMD (Music) courses for learners aged 4-18 and our community scheme for learners of all ages.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate a vocation and substantial experience in working with children and young people, and a well-established and successful teaching methodology. They will be someone who

    develops high quality relationships with colleagues and families in order to have a positive impact upon learners' experiences within the college

    employs an innovative outlook geared to improving pedagogic outcomes

    demonstrates a personal commitment to incremental development of skills in the use of the Welsh language

    This is a part time, permanent post. Your teaching hours will be allocated on an annual basis, subject to learner enrolment and retention.

    If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the College (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges. If you are an internal professional services candidate, from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, you will continue to be employed by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
