    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Building Management System (BMS) Controls and Automation to lead and oversee my clients projects in the Data Centre industry across Europe, (EMEA) region.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BMS controls and automation, data centre infrastructure and project management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • and manage a team of BMS controls and automation engineers and specialists to ensure successful project delivery.
    • strategies and roadmaps for implementing BMS controls and automation solutions in data centre facilities.
    • with cross-functional teams to design, integrate and commission BMS controls systems according to project requirements.
    • opportunities for process improvement and optimisation in BMS controls and automation projects.
    • compliance with industry standards, regulations and best practices in data centre infrastructure.
    • innovation and stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in BMS controls and automation for data centres.
    • and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients and vendors in the EMEA region.
    • project budgets, timelines and resources to meet project goals and objectives.
    • technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex BMS controls and automation issues.

    Requirements:

    • and experience in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
    • of 10 years' experience in BMS controls and automation, preferably in the data centre industry.
    • track record of successfully leading and managing BMS controls and automation projects.
    • knowledge of BMS systems, protocols and automation technologies.
    • communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • management certification or experience is desirable.
    • to travel within the EMEA region as and when needed.
    • in English; knowledge of other languages spoken in the EMEA region is desirable.
