This well established and highly successful flooring business and showroom is seeking an experienced Flooring Estimator to join their team in North London.

You're main responsibilities will be spent visiting residential and commercial customers to carryout flooring estimation as well as upselling and advising on the best products.

This role will cover the Greater London area and some of the South East.

Most of the time, the role will take you around three quarters of the day, the rest of the time you willspend in their showroom, assisting customers, advising on the best products available and upselling to them.


You will also be responsible for:

  • Knowing how to measure flooring and carpets
  • 3⁄4 of the time out estimating/ quoting and upselling products
  • Know how to create cutting plans
  • Understand the technical aspects of the role
  • Passionate about design
  • Have a drive for sales, both whilst out estimating and also in the showroom
  • In the showroom, you will sell and greet customers
  • Good communication skills
  • Use of own initiative
  • Computer literate
  • People person
  • Must have full driving license
  • Ideally be prepared to train to use their moped (not essential)
  • Good geographical knowledge of the Greater London area
  • Be prepared to work in the showroom during quieter periods of the day

What's on offer:

  • 95 Monday to Friday and early finish on a Friday
  • Salary will pay £35,000 £45,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days holiday per year
