Description

We are currently working with a packaging manufacturing business based in Crewe, who are looking for an Electrical biased, Multi-Skilled Engineer.

This role is shift work.

Responsibilities

To provide electrical & instrument support to the maintenance department in order to carry out repairs on all plant equipment in a safely and timely manner.
Experience within packaging / plastics not essential
Carry out other support and maintenance work when required
Ensuring all machinery and equipment on site is electronically safe
Carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on all machinery such as blow moulding machines
Generate pre job hazard assessment and rick assessment in order to obtain the safety permits when required.
Provide feedback and improvement / ideas on work done

Qualifications

A recognised electrical / instrumentation apprenticeship
HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Control engineering
Good knowledge with wiring regulations
Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
Commitment to health and safety procedures, risk systems, auditing and work procedures
Excellent communication skills
Experience / ability to demonstrate LEAN manufacturing principles

Job Benefits
- £40,000+ depending on previous experience
