    Job title: Client Manager

    Description: Full responsibility for delivering accounts and tax services to a varied portfolio clients

    Location: Brackley

    Salary band: £40-55k depending on experience

    Responsibilities

    · Proactive and regular communication with clients in your portfolio as a primary point of contact

    · Responsibility for overseeing the production of accounts and tax returns with a focus on quality and client satisfaction

    · Key supporting role in tax planning activities with the aim of providing a first class client experience and expanding your knowledge and confidence in more complex taxation and accounting issues

    · Opportunity to directly manage junior team members in their career progression

    Qualifications, competencies & character traits

    Required:

    Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge in the context of SMEs and personal taxation

    Familiarity with accounts preparation procedures and documentation

    Confident in reviewing others' work

    Clear and confident communication with clients and colleagues alike

    A true team player

    Pride in the work that you do

    Nice to have:

    ACA/ACCA qualification

    Knowledge of advanced taxation areas (CGT, IHT)

    Experience with IRIS accounts & tax modules

    Strong Excel skills

    A desire to find improvements and efficiencies
