Kinetic are seeking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled/Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role in Bolton.

To provide engineering resource to support the efficient manufacturing of quality bakery goods in a safe and cost-effective manner.
The Multi Skilled Engineers duties will include (but are not in any way limited to):

• To complete planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs, installation and modification to plant and services.
• Maintain and repair plant and equipment to high Engineering, Quality, Safety and Hygiene standards
• Ensure all Engineering work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health and Safety Legislation and current Company Standards
• Fault diagnose and complete breakdown repairs of process equipment, bakery manufacturing plant, packaging equipment and site services
• Undertake training and up-skilling programmes as directed by business needs and to keep abreast of technological advancements and maintain skill level
• You will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and to help plan / implement modifications to new and existing equipment.
• Ensure an in depth-handover is provided to oncoming shift, to include Engineering, manufacturing & warehouse issues
• Be available to cover for holidays and sickness with appropriate notice
• You will work as required 5 days over 7 with a Saturday every 1 in 4, shifts are on rotation 6am-2.30pm;
