As a Student Advice Support Team Assistant
  • ASK you will support the ASK team in providing the enquiry service, acting as a first point of contact for students who need information or advice, handling more complex student queries and where appropriate, referring on to relevant services.
You will cover and prioritise day-to-day operations for the ASK service including covering phone lines, the live chat system and the ASK Desk on campus.


Responding proactively to queries, you will have excellent customer service skills and an ability to use your initiative, pre-empting popular student queries.

You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills with an ability to interact with a wide range of people.

The main aim of these roles is to provide a friendly and professional first point of contact and provide information, advice and support to students, parents, staff, prospective students and external enquirers in a variety of settings in and around campus, online and occasionally in other locations.

There would be some Saturday work on specified dates at offer holder events and open days. Full training will be provided.
