- Teaching Certification with Early Childhood (ZS) and any of the Special Education endorsements (LD, CI, ASD, EI) or the ability to obtain it within the first year.

- Ability to conduct IEP meetings and complete IEP forms in conformance with the MI special education and IDEA rules.
- Ability to report services provided as required by Medicaid.
- Maintain attendance records and other data, records and reports required by the program supervisor.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Stockbridge Community School District and Ingham Intermediate School District.
- Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings.
- Punctual, reliable and predictable attendance is required

POSITION: Early Childhood/Elementary Special Education Teacher

REPORTS TO: Building Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
Special Education Teacher: will be responsible for resource room and/or co-teaching core curriculum. This teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate grade level content expectations and activities for special education students in collaboration with a general education teacher , and writing/implementing IEPs for students on his/her caseload. This teacher must also possess the ability to communicate effectively with all students, their parents/guardians, outside agencies, and district staff.
