    We are in search of a Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and facilitate the delivery of SJP Investment reporting.

    In this role, you'll primarily be responsible for communicating the monthly financial outcomes of SJPUTG, a pivotal entity within the group that significantly impacts overall results. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, thereby upholding the group's regulatory obligations.

    What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting for SJP Investment, particularly SJPUTG.
  • Providing effective support and guidance to senior management on financial and regulatory matters.
  • Delivering comprehensive management information to the Boards of SJPUTG.
  • Coordinating capital management activities and preparing dividend proposals.
  • Maintaining a robust control environment to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Orchestrating engagement between the Finance team and Investment Operations/Custodian (State Street).
  • Leading the consolidated Group financial reporting of the SJP Unit Trusts.
  • Chairing the Finance/Investment Operations working group meetings.
  • Supervising the financial reporting team's interactions with SJP Unit Trust valuation experts, both internal and external.
  • Representing finance on the Investment Operations Committee.
  • Providing ongoing support and challenge to investment projects.
  • Assisting the Group reporting team with technical accounting queries on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Who we're looking for:

  • Knowledge and experience in Financial Reporting, encompassing statutory and regulatory aspects.
  • Proficiency in interpreting financial data and management information to advise decision-making.
  • Possession of an accounting qualification (, ACA, ACCA).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and organizational abilities.
  • Detailed understanding of the past, current, and future financial landscape of SJP UTG.
  • Familiarity with the governance structure of the business, ensuring appropriate risk management and decision-making processes.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of establishing and developing processes, working with minimal direction, and addressing challenges with credibility and comfort when dealing with senior executives.
