This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading manufacturing company. Verder are now looking to expand their existing team by recruiting a new Marketing Assistant.

Verder Ltd are looking for a marketing assistant who will fit into an established team to maintain the high standards our customers expect.

Day-to-day duties will include coordinating with both internal and external teams to ensure marketing KPIs are met and communicated centrally.

You will manage leads for new accounts and maintaining existing ones.


Key responsibilities include:

• Customer trend and marketing analysis, looking at the whole customer experience and working with the customer service department to improve this
• Help to manage social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments
• Event management e.g., sales meetings, office events, training
• Writing and editing press releases and news articles for trade organisations
• General marketing housekeeping raising POs and keeping track of invoices
• Attending industry events, conference and trade shows, representing Verder
• Liaise closely with the current UK marketing team to ensure alignment
• Work closely with the external sales team to support their enquiries
• Maintain knowledge of products and services, including features and benefits to discuss with clients
• Data analysis and corroboration of marketing prospect lists to generate leads
• Upkeep and general housekeeping of CRM systems for marketing functions
• Engineering (or equivalent) time served work experience, or experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
• Experience of working with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 36
• Experience in monitoring and measuring different marketing strategies
• Digital marketing and social media experience paid advertising and targeted content
• Able to work alongside existing internal and external employees
• Ability to learn and understand new technology to effectively articulate the benefits to perspective clients
• Confident, organised and motivated
